I have inherited a crazy quilt that was made in the early 1920's. There are a few spots where the fabric is threading and the embroidery thread is decaying. I know there are people out there who preserve quilts, but I don't want to take a shot in the dark. Anyone out there have recommendations?

thanks a bunch

Barbara

If you live near a large urban area, museums are the best source for finding professional textile conservators. They may be able to give you some sources to persue.

Here are some google searches for quilt conservation.
