To KathySews Tory Burch tunics. I must have been looking them up while you were posting a reply |

They tend to include instructions for making it the length you want based on your height, which I have found to be fairly accurate too. ------ Wendy

Date: 2/1/13 10:58 AM If you want to add elastic to a tunic for a blouson waist or lengthen it into a dress, is there a rule for measuring the tunnel?
Mark at your waist and then lower that line how much for the blouson effect, so the garment won't pull up when raising the arms?
I'm trying this for both little girl's and adult clothing. |

Date: 2/2/13 10:35 AM I usually add between 2 and 3 inches to the length. I use 1/4" elastic so it's just a minimal 3/8" tunnel. ------ Sewing: A creative mess is better than tidy idleness. ~Author Unknown
