I think others can chime in here but from I what I have seen the MSRP is $2999. I have heard of them being sold at far less anywhere from $2 to $3K. I think the average I have seen is about $22-2400 without trade in.

i saw a demo for 1700 last week... selling at a janome dealership. i thought that was a good price!

My dealer is selling the 7700 for 1899.00 or with several extra's for 2199.00 Or he said he would sell me the Horizon 1200. Or is it 12000? Now I'm probably getting close to it's price I just said "No thank you," and didn't bother to look. Then after reading up on the 12000, I wish I would have watched a demo and at least asked the price:)

I paid about $2200 on the 1st day of sales in 2010. I loooovvveee my 7700.

Dealer in my town had it at $2500 a couple of weeks ago. They might go down a bit if asked though, never hurts to ask! Happy shopping.

Actually, Janome makes a 1200 and a 12000. The 1200D is a TOL serger, and the HMC12000 is a TOL sewing/embroidery machine.

Pretty sure the 12000 is not in the same price league as the 7700, though.
