Subject: Serger? Date: 4/18/12 4:07 PM Hi, Jennifer. Is it necessary to have a serger to make the T shirt for this class? |

Subject: Re: Serger? Date: 4/18/12 5:48 PM Hi janem123,
I use a serger in the videos to sew the tee. But, you can use your sewing machine if you'd like. We can talk about different stitch settings and other things that make sewing knits on a sewing machine easier... Plus, knits do not ravel, so there is no need to finish the edges. If you have a walking foot, that can help stitch a smooth seam! Let me know if you have more questions. Thanks so much Jen |

Subject: class format Date: 4/18/12 10:29 PM Hi Jen,
How are you? Looking forward to another of your classes. I was wondering if you can tell me how this works - is it totally video lessons and no written info? Is it on-going and no beginning or ending dates or chats? Just different than all other classes on PR so I wasn’t sure.
Also, if no written info, can we download and keep the videos? If not, how long can we access them?
What pattern are you using? the one pictured looks like yours - is that what you recommend we work on?
Thanks so much -

Subject: Replies to Judy Kski and dschim about availability and class format Date: 4/19/12 1:15 PM Judy Kski, you can take the class anytime... Unlike our other online classes, there is no official beginning or end. So the class will be here when you come back from your trip.
dschim, there are no chats and no written lessons. It's completely video! But you can ask the instructor questions on the class board.
You can't download the videos, but you have access to them forever! And all the video lessons are available as soon as you sign up.
The required pattern for this class is JStern Design's Tee Pattern. There's a choice of two size ranges.
For more information about the class and an introductory video, visit the Fit the Tee to a T class description.

Nice to hear from you! This class is an on going class. You can take it when it fits into your schedule. There isn't any written lessons, but I'm sure the class message board will become a wealth of information.... you can print the messages and keep those. I believe that you will have access to the videos forever . I hope that answers everything... if not, let me know! Thanks so much, Jen And, I'm using the jsterndesign Tee pattern -- Edited on 4/19/12 3:26 PM -- |

- ok - we sign up and view videos and ask questions whenever we want and you answer our questions “forever”? So as additional students enter the class, the classroom just keeps growing?
It is open now, right? I have your pattern so that is a plus!
Also, I LOVE the two knits you show in the pics here - are they available for purchase?
Thanks -
