Hi,

I have V1013 (Donna Karan) pattern but the fit is not great on me and am keen to know of any good slim fitting pant patterns. I have a basic sloper so in theory could do it myself but am short on time :)

Have you had a look at Colette's Clover pants. It's a great pattern. I've made them twice without any hassles. Worth a look at.

Thanks I have seen a number of versions on the internet. I wanted something more trousery if that makes sense! With 2 small children I don't have the time to draft all the changes I would like (front fly, hip pockets, welts etcc).

I made these trousers from the January 2012 Burda (or you can also purchase it as a download here), and I LOVE the fit. I must've worn them at least once a week since I've made them! I've made Clover, too, and these have a very similar fit through the hips and legs, but with classic trouser pockets and front zipper fly. You will need to add a few inches of length as they're "ankle length", but that's really easy to do.

Ooh thanks for that. I was looking for a non stretch pattern and that fits the bill :)
