Date: 4/15/12 7:44 PM I happened to notice that QVC does sell sewing machines, so why do they not have demo shows and flex pay. Is it because they have no special deals with the manufacturer? ------ Brother PC420
Brother 1034D
Singer SESQ6700
Singer Signature (New One)
New Home Combi DX
Singer 319
Singer Featherweight 221 |

Date: 4/16/12 5:19 PM Wow, I didn't know they were selling machines. No picture but they have the Janome 350E for sale. Thought that could only be purchased at a dealer? Same price as local dealer last time I looked. Will have to see if they start doing demo's. I love the watch HSN do their sewing shows. Learn alot from them. Love the warranty available and 30 return. Can't return a machine to local dealer because you don't like it.
Not a sewing machine, but I recently had to return a little audio boom box bought from HSN with an extended warranty. Was able to ship back at no charge. In less than a month I had a refund fund check for the whole amt. No hassle at all. Would love to buy a sewing machine that way.
Will have to watch out for it.

Date: 4/16/12 6:43 PM I don't know, but if I was them, I would not bother or have the expense of doing that for any machines I sold that were also sold on HSN. Just because if HSN was doing that for those already, and paying all the expensive costs for that kind of thing, for that for themselves, I would figure why bother, as I actually think people would watch those kind of things just free, anywhere they could, and then in the end, just buy them from whomever sold them the very cheapest at any one time maybe? I think that, just because everyone wants as much stuff free as possible, and when they want fee stuff more training and informational stuff like that, I think they really don't care where the source is it comes from or where they get all the free information and free stuff from, and don't even always associate that at all, with the final place they actually end up buying a machine from either. |

Date: 4/17/12 1:27 PM QVC used to have craft shows a long time ago. Their one show host that did the craft shows left QVC and is now on HSN, Susan Runyon (SP?). I think they stopped after she left. It has been awhile since QVC sold any sewing machines, I am going to have to go and check out their website. |
