A friend of mine emailed me a pic of a women's dress that she wants me to make for her. However, I'm still a bit new to sewing and MUST have a pattern. I was hoping someone here might know of a pattern that 'goes with' the pic.

(Looking at the women's dress; not the girl's dress)

Sorry to be a negative Nancy here, but are you sure you want to undertake this task? If you are new to sewing, the idea of making a dress for someone else is a VERY daunting thing. Consider the many many questions and concerns in PR about how to fit one's own body by experienced stitchers. Wishing you well, whatever you decide to do.
Blessings!
Debra

From the URL, it looks like the photo you are trying to link is an attachment in a Facebook message...which means none of us can see it because we don't have access.

Link to the original site for the photo, or save the photo to a site like photobucket and repost, then we will be able to see.

But to echo posters above...if you are a new sewist, are you sure you want to embark on sewing for someone else? I have been sewing for 32 years, and I am still hesitant to fit other people, especially if I don't have immediate access to the individual I am fitting.

Thank you for the replies... I emailed her back and said I wasn't comfortable with the project.
