Just checking because it seems that nearly every night I pop in the chat room lobby, nobody is there. Or else someone is there, but not really as they are off doing other things.

I did chat briefly with Doglover, but was exhausted and on a road trip with my son, so had to shut down so that he would go to sleep and not be kept awake by the clicking of the keys.

But....seriously, what the heck happened to everyone?

I usually am online about that time, but the last few months I haven't wanted to talk to anyone, or do much of anything really.

My OBGYN decided I didn't have PPD, so cut my antidepressants out, and I had to get another doc to fill it. Then that takes a while to get back into the system. Neal had some health issues, my little sister's drama came to a head and a bunch of stuff landed on my lap to deal with...and I am just now getting out of my funk enough to talk without wanting to yell, be mean or cry.

Last 2 months have gone like this: gallbladder attack, depression, VA appointment, abscess, too tired to care, depression, dog issue, VA appointment, drama, depression, drama, VA appointment, GB attack, abscess...lol. And I have a baby to take care of through it all, and my nearly teenage son has needed me more the last few months too. Rinse repeat. SSDD.

I did not think any of you wanted to deal with me. Hell, I don't want to deal with me. :D

Oh my.. so sorry you are having so many issues..

Adding one more dog was about two more than I needed.. and just can't find the time nor the energy to chat in the evenings any longer.
Its hard enough to find time just to post..

I hear you Sew Ducky.. having those health issues last year put my wayyyy behind in my work too.. so I am having to play catch up with everything from the house to the yard this year.. And as long as the weather is nice out.. I will be out in the yard.. I always am anyhow.. but this year its a necessity..

Maybe things will pick up in chat over the summer when its too hot to do much else.

Elaina, I wasn't accusing anyone of skipping out or anything, and I know that life, quite often, gets in the way of things.

I was just curious because, for a while (back in the fall, sadly) we had a regular group that just hung out and caught up, and now it seems like it is extremely rare to find anyone hanging out....

It was really just a question of curiosity

Never thought you were accusing anyone. I just know I've been one of the ones in there for the last year, and since this came up, it was easier to drop it in here then feel guilty about not wanting to really talk to my friends.

And I hear you PP. I'm the only one healthy enough to do the yard here, so I'm trying to find a day it's dry and nice to get the darn thing mowed. Never mind my house. I still never caught up from being pregnant and moving in the house. (Although I DO have my sewing corner set up and clean/organized. About the only thing that is done right here.) Luckily my new doctor has gotten not only my anti-depressants, but also a daily anti anxiety as well as Ativan to take when it gets bad and ambien since I'm not sleeping well. Lot of pills, but after a week and a half I feel somewhat more "normal" today.

That is why *I* haven't been in, was all. All my energy has been funneled into making sure the kids are doing okay. I've managed to do that since Katie is happy all the time (and I have never seen a baby that is this happy), Josh got a job and comes over to avoid his mom and step dad (and I am glad he feels comfortable dropping in to see his dad) and Casey is having problems with his dad and step mom, although there's not much I can do other then listen to him rant and rave, which I do.

LMAO. Sorry for hijacking here!
