How about from an elna dealer in the UK? I don't even think it's supposed to have any kind of special "cover stitch foot at all" and I actual think/guess it's supposed to use the normal one that is just on it anyways instead actually. You probably have a lever on that foot, that you can switch from a side to b side, and you might want to do that though. Maybe read your book?
It might be hard to use that way, without the table though. But my guess is that the table part, for a very much more current elna 945 machine, which would be pretty much the same in size or shape, might even just fit right on there. I think a elna dealer near you, would be the place to go, to check on something like that probably.

Yes, there is a coverstitch foot for the 704, I might have an extra, will see.
