I just bought one from amazon, I returned my other machine(PE 500) to walmart. It worked fine but you all were right with getting a larger hoop is better.

I should get it in a few days, I can not wait.
I did a search to see what kind of usb I can use and apparently size doesn't matter. I just want to make sure.

Why didn't you put this with the original post so those who did not participate know what you are referring to?

You didn't opt for the D (Disney) Version? I love having the Disney on my machine.

I got the Disney and have only stitched out one design. Probably could have done without it.

I was thinking of getting the Disney, but then decided not to.

My kids like Pixar and nickelodeon more then Disney, which is why I went with brother. I figured with the $300 I am saving by not getting the Disney one I can buy them the ones that they like instead.

You know, I looked at the Brother online site to see what designs are included in the D version (780D) and I was not impressed with the Disney selection it had. It was all just Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy etc., no other lines from the movies and other characters.

I have the 1250D combo machine and it has a really nice variety of the basic guys + Pooh, Princesses, and movie characters. Not too much on the Pixar range, but I was really happy with the ones loaded on the machine.

I would have been disappointed with the ones on the 780D.

It sounds like you found yourself a good machine and I think you will love having the 5 x 7 hoop.

I posted a site at your post for Embroidery Library. Pay special attention on how to download and save ME files.

You can access the site here.

You need the pes. format for Brother Embroidery Machines, unless the manual for the machine notes otherwise.
