I've used this fabric, Joann's Sew Classic Rodeo for many projects and it works really great for what I need it to do. My problem is that it does not come in very many colors. It's a cotton poly blend that's described as a bottom weight, so it has a heavy, dense weave. Does any one know any other places that might sell something like this in a variety of colors ? Or perhaps know the name of the weave it might be? Any help would be appreciated! Thanks a lot in advance!

How does the Joanns 'target' compare? It's also a bottomweight blend.

My grandmother taught me to sew when I was 10, and I've been sewing ever since.

I think 'target' is a bit stiffer and comes infewer colors.

The target has a bit looser of a weave. Also, I think it might be all cotton.

Perhaps it is a poplin, a plain weave with a slight texture from the yarns used. I have seen the rodeo at JoAnn but can't remember exactly which one it is.

The Blue Desert Company has a bottomweight poplin in almost the same cotton poly blend. I have used their "lite" poplin for scrubs for my DD and the fabric quality is very good. She likes the lite but I think RTW uniform scrubs are the regular poplin.

Thanks! I'll check that poplin out.
