doing a bookbag
Amores Advanced IN USA Member since 4/7/05 Posts: 68	Login to reply to this post Like this post Date: 5/16/12 11:16 PM im i am doing the pattern number 1823 for a bookbag but now im stuck on the part were i have to add the zipper it says" ON OUTSIDE, pinclosed zipper to upper edge of front band, having the zipper face down? i know that to u guys its very clearn what its saying but to me im lost. please can someone help me understand this please...

I think what they want you to do is place rights sides together. Right side of the fabric with the right (or front) side of the zipper together with the edge of the fabric lining up with the edge of the zipper. So when you fold the zipper back you see the right side of the fabric and zipper and seam is inside the bag.
