The ASG groups I have tried are great but mostly

Date: 5/18/12 5:50 PM You will meet a lot of serious sewing people at Louise Cutting's sewing retreats which are held a few times a year in Winter Park.
If there are few "couture" people in your local ASG group I still encourage you to show up with the work you pride yoursel in completing. They will learn, others might elevate to a new type of sewing and you will be contributing just by representing couture sewing.
ASG is meant to be inclusive....a melting pot of sewing levels and interests. You had to start somewhere yourself....right? Great way to giveback just by sharing your excellent garments. |

Date: 5/29/12 3:37 PM I will be moving to DeBary very soon. I am hoping to have a sewing group to meet with. I have never had a group in any place that I have lived that was interested in fashion sewing. There is a quilting group here and the ladies are very nice, but I don't quilt. If that is close to you maybe we could work out a meeting. |
