Date: 5/21/12 11:48 AM I don't know why we didn't get this jacket pattern in the English edition of Burda magazine, but there's a free pdf of a cropped, retro swing jacket on the Hungarian Burda site.

1. Scroll down til you see the red scissor icon above the silver jacket with "Szabásminták Ingyenes letölthető szabásminta " and the blue arrow
2. Click on it.
3. A popup will appear - enter a name in the first box, and an email address in the second (hint: they don't have to be real!)
4. Click the button to start the pdf downloading
The instructions are obviously in Hungarian, but I'd probably only get slightly less comprehension from these than the English instructions anyway, so it's no problem for me! :D
They liked it so much they put it on the cover! ------ www.fehrtrade.com |

Date: 5/21/12 6:50 PM That is really cute - thanks! I actually bought my first Burda in eons. I let my script expire early last year. Too many cute things and I finally caved. ------ "The way I see it, if you want the rainbow, you gotta put up with the rain." ~Dolly Parton

I bought a few archive Burda magazines when I was in Budapest last year, and they had a bunch of adverts for burda.hu in them. Yesterday I was looking at the various Burda sites trying to find alternatives to the English, German, and French sites, and thought I'd try the Hungarian. I think they do free downloads fairly regularly - I remember I grabbed one last fall from the site right after I'd returned from our trip.------ www.fehrtrade.com |
