coverup...one that is practical and attractive. I'm interested
in hearing what others have done...patterns and fabrics. I've just been using my husband's t-shirts for years and would like to step it up a notch this year. |

Either the Cabriolet or the Peachy Beach would work to cover up in town. Try lace, terry, knit, gauzy.
Also, check out S2371. Versatile pattern with a tunic style for coverup.
Using a decorative stitch down the pleats ads interest. -- Edited on 5/24/12 8:15 AM -- |

But the pattern is also only $3.60 on the Simplicity website. ------ marjoriekh |

Date: 5/24/12 10:38 AM Funny you should ask. Yesterday I finished up Kwik Sew 3505 for my DIL. I used white cotton crinkly eyelet gauze. I don't think the photo does it justice. Really should be modeled for the pic. You know how gauze is so flowy and crinkly--it doesn't come across on a still shot. But it's super easy to make and a pattern that would be easy to add length to.

Edited to add:
I just wrote a review of it here
