Our anniversary is June 20th and it will be 20 years for us this year -- we've already done our usual buying season's tickets to the outdoor theatre and will be seeing Footloose at the end of this month and Annie in August. We will also go on a hike & picnic on the actual day.

We usually plan our "active holiday" for June but this year we had to put it off to late August/early September since youngest DS is getting married on July 7th and we will have to travel for that.

Also have oldest son's birthday this month (18th) and his wife's on the 30th.

So all in all a busy month. Will be planting the last of my plants tomorrow and then hope to get started on sanding my front door frame -- it desperately needs a good coat of paint (as do both the front door and garage door).

I have two anniversaries this month. My late husband and I were married on June 6th many years ago. I was given a second chance with a second husband whom I married on June 23. Yes, June has been good to me.

June 17th we will be married 39 years. It was Father's Day when we got married - I handed out the Father's Day cards to fathers and uncles and one grandfather at my reception.

39 years sound like such a long time, but it sure has gone fast.

my birthday (along with my twin's) is June 29th. I will most likely celebrate by wearing a me-made dress and going swing dancing! That will be 8 weeks after surgery (hysterectomy) so it will be the first dancing in a while... looking forward to it!

Happy Anniversaries and Birthdays to other June Sunshiners!

Well, my dear Piggie, you know I am lazy. In fact, Lazy is my middle name, but in matters of the heart I would not be THAT lazy.

In my reckoning, Lorena Bobbitt is the true American Idol. If DH weren't a keeper...

Where are you starting out from and how far are you planning to go?

We're still planning our route through Minnesota, Wisconsin and possibly Illinois for the fall -- any tips, must sees, etc.?

Please be sure to have baby aspirin with you... my Brother in Law & nephew went on long motorcycle trip & BIL got blood clots in his legs .... the doctor said he should have started a baby aspirin a day as soon as he had pain to prevent clots. .... They went from Detroit out to Idaho & then to Yellowstone & back.... They said so beautiful on the bikes but the blood clots were almost deadly. ....
Have a beautiful trip! .... Safe & friendly travels.... Big smile...
Me waving bye .....
