Date: 6/3/12 9:13 AM ETA: Ok, lets have this as the official meeting locale:
Wednesday Aug 15
Noon at Frank's New York Style Pizza and Pub, 4718 Penn Ave Sinking Spring, PA 19608
We can get some lunch and then head over to Fabric Mart (1 mile down the road). I will guess that we will head to FM around 1:30. Hopefully this will give us enough time to shop and then miss at least some of the evening rush. If you are coming and would like my cell number, either pm me or post in this thread and I will send you a pm. I will call FM on Monday and let them know we are coming.

Would anyone be interested in a weekday meetup at Fabric Mart's brick and mortar store in Sinking Spring PA? They are not open on weekends.
eta: there are photos of Fabric Mart's store on facebook, but I'm not sure if they have anything on their webpage since the redesign.
If there are a few people from the DC area who are interested (it is about a 2.5 hour drive), we could carpool up after rush hour, meet up for lunch in Sinking Spring, then do some shopping and hopefully get back in time for dinner if the traffic is merciful. Of course, anyone who wants to join in for lunch or just shopping is more than welcome.
I can take a day off work pretty much whenever, although July is looking kind of sticky. I'll throw out a few times, if you are interested, please say what works best for you:
third week of June (18-22)
fourth week of June (25-29)
1st week July (2-6, excluding the 4th)
July 30-Aug 3
Aug 6- 10
some other time (you suggest)

Date: 6/3/12 12:35 PM I'm just pea green jealous that you live that close to Fabric Mart I live in Richmond, Va. and it would probably take me close to 6 hours to get there. I've been trying to work out a road trip(that includes husband driving ) with a side track to Fabric Mart.
For him to be interested in the trip, there usually has to be a casino near by |

Right now the better weeks for me would be end of July or into August. I've been wanting to visit their physical store for awhile, hope we can make it happen! Thanks Nikki for throwing it out there. ------ I'm finally a blogger!

Date: 6/3/12 2:34 PM JTink, there are a few casino resorts in PA, within 30-60 minutes of Sinking Spring. I bet you could find a route where your husband drops you off for shopping and then heads over to a casino for a while....
I'll make a poll or similar later today so we can see when would be best. ------ mmmmm woooool |

Date: 6/3/12 5:35 PM Ok, I set up a poll on doodle: Fabric Mart poll
To reply to the poll, you can put whatever name you want in the participants field, then just click on each day whether it is good (yes), bad (no), or if you might be able to swing it in a pinch (yes?). Then hit save at the end (sorry there are a lot of dates). ------ mmmmm woooool |

Date: 6/3/12 6:36 PM Ooooh, I have very limited vacation days but have been wanting to do this for ages. I'll vote (under the name "nicegirl") but don't let me be a tie breaker because I'm not for sure I can come. ------ http://theslapdashsewist.blogspot.com
