Rushed here from Tom and Lorenzo and the Donna Karan Resort 2013 looks like it has potential.

So if a DK and/or Vogue Patterns intern is reading this (perhaps because of Google Alerts and the like), here are my choices, the familiar drapings with some 50s flare:

They are not all for my height, shape, age or lifestyle but I confess to buying some patterns fro the eye (and brain) candy. (photos from style.com)

What do you think?

Love the full skirts with the tops, the others would only work on me if I was a teen. I really like the first pic.

I love the looks - I agree they are not all for my age or body type, but I love, love, love the first two skirts!

Is the last photo of a skirt, or pants? I love that look. The first and fourth looks are great too for casual wear. Nice find lakaribane.

Very pretty! All of them.

But since the model is in the same pose in all of them I'm cracking up at the idea of her changing outfits and then going and standing stationary while pretending to take a step forward...

I would totally wear (suitably plus sized, of course):
scoop neck blouse
white shirt
pink side slit dress, sans side slit and ankle length
black jacket in all black outfit

When I saw this on TLo, I too began to fantasize about which ones would be in the Vogue book next year. I hope you're right and a Vogue pattern staffer is reading this. I love this collection of hers and I have a million Donna Karan Vogue patterns that I bought for brain/eye candy purposes.

Speaking of Vogue and Donna Karan, I just received Vogue 1280 in the post yesterday from my mom, and I'm SO EXCITED to see that Vogue have done exactly what I was complaining about in the last Vogue DKNY pattern I made, and they've actually gone and numbered the notches on this pattern!! Most pattern magazine companies do this all the time and it makes them so much easier to construct.

I like to think it was down to me, but who knows if they read FehrTrade or not... :P
