Date: 6/14/12 9:01 PM I just received a notification that the early Autumn Simplicity 2012 were available. Eagerly I clicked, and clicked... Nothing yet!
That is so disappointing and right before a weekend!

Date: 6/14/12 10:48 PM Can't see them - the link in their website doesn't work for me.
Can someone put a link in here to go directly to the new patterns?

Date: 6/14/12 10:52 PM hard to link from my iPad, but if you go to the simplicity website, The red menu bar across the top...far right, says New Products.
Click on that. The menu on the left says "Artisan Tools", and right under that, is "Simplicity Early Autumn". Date: 6/14/12 11:48 PM So much to love ...

S1777, repo 1940s pattern. Love the skirt pleats.

S1779 - Love bows and really don't like the princess seams so many bowed tops seem to have. This is so perfect for me - some bust shaping and some great sleeve options.

S1783. So normally I appreciate Cynthia Rowley's patterns but can't even dream of wearing any of them as they're made for exactly not my body type. However the shirt and skirt combo here really might actually be a good one for me. Love the pleats and the skirt looks really similar to my rather worn out TNT skirt. Not certain about the front box pleat (those are hard to pull off without looking a bit class challenged) but that's easy to change.
S1784 - The pant suit version is exactly what my grandmother (a glamourous "career woman") would have worn back in the late 70s, just in different colors. Time warp here. And I kinda love it for the nostalgia.

Date: 6/14/12 11:55 PM Haha, they ARE huge. But the large size showed me that the pants pockets on 1783 open on the side, which I had not noticed earlier. So thanks! ------ Heather |
