Subject: Overdressed: the shockinly high cost of cheap fashion Date: 6/15/12 3:47 PM I've just started to read this book. It is AMAZING. For everyone out there who wonders how they can sell t-shirts for $5 and why RTW clothes are getting shoddier and shoddier, this is the book for you. I'm about half way through. It talks about the history of garments in this country and how the retail business works today. When it covers what happens to all the clothes donated to charities it is most interesting. It's an issue I'd love more info on, as the clothes in the shops do seem to be cheaper and of lower quality every year.
