Date: 6/18/12 6:58 PM Are they going to start including action figures with the pattern? You're right Michelle, those are some poses! -- Edited on 6/18/12 6:58 PM -- |

Date: 6/18/12 7:06 PM It looks like they got a new art director. I'm really pleased because they seem to have most of the different views sewn in different fabrics. That helps a lot. I like that they're styling it more like ready to wear. Once you've been sewing for a while, you don't really realize how different a pattern looks from most other current fashion illustration, at least in my case, I expect them to look the same as when I was seven and they kinda do.
I like the color blocking possibilities of 6609, and I like this top if I can get the fit right 6604. Of course, I'm a sucker for shirt dresses 6600 too.
Lately, I haven't liked very much that anyone is releasing but I'll try a couple.
Edited for clarification. -- Edited on 6/18/12 7:09 PM -- ------ Melody

Date: 6/18/12 7:41 PM Sigh. I was so looking forward to fall (and winter) patterns, as they're my faves to sew. But so far, it just isn't looking promising.
Then again, Jalie and Style Arc patterns are still to come! I feel much better now. ------ I heart Panzy, Pfaff Creative Performance, the sewing machine love of my life! And Rupert (Pfaff 2023), Baby (BL Enlighten), Victor (BLCS), Ash (Bernina 350SE), Pal (Bernina 530), Kee (Bernina 750) and the Featherteen Flock!
Most of all, I heart Woo (HimmyCat). Until we meet again, my beautiful little boy. I love you. |

3 members like this. Date: 6/18/12 7:49 PM Fantastic. If I ever need to make socks for my furniture I'll know where to go. ???
And that's not even as weird as most of the *clothes!*
I did like this top (once I found the line drawing; View B/the blue), because it's very, very similar to very pricey RTW top I've been admiring.

I liked that top, as well. Since they're on sale, I ordered that top pattern, the Monsters, Inc costume for toddlers (DH's favorite Pixar movie is Monsters, Inc) and the diaper bags.
I like a few other patterns as well, but I have no idea what my figure is going to do post-partum, so I'm trying to stay away from things with much waist definition at the moment until I see how much belly I can reasonably lose.
