I would check the finished measurements either by measuring the pattern pieces (omitting the seam allowances) or looking at the finished measurements on the back of the envelope. I would then measure a knit dress I like in the bust and hip and select the size/sizes that best corresponds.
My own preference is for it to be fairly fitted in the bust (0 ease) and 2-3 inches ease in the hips as I don't like any cling there. Your tastes may vary. ------ Julie, Perth, WA |

Date: 6/21/12 12:27 PM When I use a knit for a woven pattern I always use stay tape at the shoulder and also at the front neck if it is a V, elastic works well at the neck. |
