pattern problem fitting
Awsome patterns Member since 6/21/12 Posts: 1	Login to reply to this post Like this post Date: 6/21/12 11:56 AM I bought Simplicity pattern 1800. It fits sizes slim, average and curvy. How do I know if I need a curvy or average size? The pattern does not help with this problem.

I have an hourglass figure with high hips, and somewhat flat buttocks. The "curvy" pattern buttocks area had a lot of extra fabric on me. I ended up making an average, which fit me much better than the curvy.

I would suggest checking the waist/hip ratio of the pattern to yourself to decide which way to go.
