Date: 6/23/12 5:52 PM I was in JoAnn's last week and noticed that they now carry Kwik Sew Patterns. However, I did not see a tab for Plus Sizes. I looked through the book several times just to be sure. Did I overlook them or have they been discontinued? Maybe there is another book that I did not see but the one I looked at seemed to have all the other patterns in it. They still appear on the ClubBMV website.

Date: 6/23/12 8:39 PM If you go to their website, Kwik Sew does carry plus size patterns. In fact, they are having a sale right now, but there aren't very many (if any) that are truly considered "plus size".
I'm guessing that Joann's just isn't carrying a very broad range of their patterns. ------ Brother Innovis 1250D

Date: 6/23/12 9:26 PM Our local JoAnn's carries a very limited selection of very basic patterns. The only book they had was very small. I didn't look at the sizing, but I was very disappointed in the selection. Almost all one yard skirt, pull on pants and PJ pants with some shapeless tunics tossed in. The doll clothes were more interesting, if you sew for 18" dolls. -- Edited on 6/23/12 9:27 PM -- ------ 2009-113.25 yds
2010-115.5

2012 86.3 yds..
2013 21.0
Everyone who sews seriously has a stockpile of fabrics, because it is natural to purchase more than can be sewn in any one season" Singer, Timesaving Sewing, 1987

Date: 6/23/12 10:21 PM Heather -- they also have some on Club BMV, but I wanted to get some while I was at JoAnn's and was surprised to find them not in the book. I did pick up one child's pattern but having to pay over $4 postage makes the KS patterns a little expensive. Guess I'll stick to what I already have or grade up on the regular ones. ------ Total fabric on hand: 1/1/13 1683.731 yds

Date: 6/24/12 0:10 AM Yes, unfortunately Club BMV does charge a lot for shipping & handling (too much in my opinion).
But I figure I still come out slightly ahead if I order enough at a time to jusify the shipping costs. It's certainly better than paying $12/each for those patterns! ------ Brother Innovis 1250D
