After a few simple things here and there, I think i finally got a major sewing mojo going on. I have sewn two dresses in two weekends (the only time I really have to sew). I have to do some finishing, and of course, one had to be almost completely taken apart (butterick 4789) because I had messed up the front twist and the wrong side of the fabric kept flipping out on one side, but I am very pleased with the outcome. Both dresses are super cute, and have inspired me to keep sewing! I have a few more pieces planned, including some Style Arc patterns.

Maybe if I can get some time after work one night this week I can do some pattern alterations and get everything cut out by Friday so I can sew again this weekend. The two dresses so far were cut out and sewn in one day....except for the 4789, I'll fix that tomorrow....

Good for you! I only hope it's contagious cause I need some mojo!

Anyway, as someone who's trying to get a roll going, I'm cheering for anyone who has already made it happen!

Good for you! I've been so busy with our new toy (a travel trailer), I have only been sewing on my stitch bible which is taking forever.
I know you've had some difficulties over the years as to what type of sewing, and even weather to continue. I'm glad you found it and are back in action. Due to some replies on some of your other threads, I learned it's OKAY to take a break now and again!!
