Just Google "free girl's dress tutorials" and you will get tons of US Moms' Blogs with lots of Freebies.
Using the word "tutorial" gives you different sites than just "free children's patterns/dress/clothing patterns."
The shirred and pillowcase dresses are popular here for hot weather, quick to sew, with many sites for instructions (no pattern needed.)
Put in the word "sewing" or you will also get knitting/crochet patterns.
Here are a few:
luckypennymake.com (adorable "rock collecting" skirt!)
dana-made-it.com
runningwithscissors.com
rookiemoms.com
thinkliz.com
weallsew.com
oliverands.com
missyballance.typepad.com (adorable Silly Girl doll)
clothdollpatterns.com (lots of free dolls/animals)

Date: 6/26/12 5:28 AM Sewing In No Man's Land has some great free kid patterns.
My kids are either too young (8 months) or too old (13) to use these yet, but I have them bookmarked. |

Date: 6/26/12 9:36 PM There is a lady who blogs at "Craftiness is Not Optional" that has a bunch of tutorial on how to make clothes for little girls. She uses clothes her kids have already to draft most of the patterns and has good instructions/pictures for drafting your own:
CINO Tutorials (scroll down to kids clothing)
She also has some cute accessories (hairbows and such) ------ angie
