Date: 6/27/12 8:08 PM Soooooooo.......tired. So very little patience with my young students. Those annoying behaviours that have just been piling up for the last 10 months just getting to be too much!
Must hang on for two more days. Wish me luck. ------ http://bgballroom.wordpress.com to follow the progress on my next ballgown. |

Date: 6/27/12 8:55 PM Just as long as you do not get sick your first day off.
Just think you have two months to enjoy, and by the end of August you will missing the little darlings.
My former MIL and Dad were both teachers and always got a rotten cold the first week of July.

Date: 6/27/12 10:55 PM If anybody needs those two months off, it's us teachers. I'm nearly a month into my break, and have been enjoying every minute of it! Those last two weeks were grueling! Good luck! ------ Visit my blog at http://sewingsaga.blogspot.com

1 member likes this. Date: 6/28/12 1:56 AM I taught for a few years, some of it in sink schools. The long summer 'holidays' aren't real holidays, they're sick leave. Good luck. ------ so many patterns, clamouring to be sewn

Date: 6/28/12 6:52 PM The upside is that I have been sleeping extremely well! That makes me at least feel this is serious tired-ness and not all some mental gymnastics my brain is doing.
I don't usually get sick at the end of the year but certainly know a lot of people who do. It is probably smart that we never seem to vacation right after the end of school, DH is still working and I just putter around and play in the sewing room for a couple of weeks. Good old fashioned fabric therapy!
Feeling quite a bit better this afternoon and not crawling in the door craving coffee and chocolate. But I may just have some anyway. ------ http://bgballroom.wordpress.com to follow the progress on my next ballgown. |
