For the first time this month, I bought Burda Style magazine in French instead of in English. There are two patterns that I don't remember seeing in the English version when I flipped through the pages in the store. They are dress 133, a vintage pattern from 1950, and dress 190, a downloadable pattern, here presented by actress Julie Deply. Could one of you with the English version confirm whether those patterns are in the English version or not? Because if they are not, from now on, it will opt for the French version...

I only have English editions when an issue is lost in the mail, otherwise I have French issues.

But I have read here that some of the EU issues have a "masschnitt" or something ie a pattern you can order in your own size only.

I would be grateful to see the Julie Delpy pattern *wink, wink*

I'm sure someone will chime in with the correct info. Maybe GBK who is in Germany?

English vs French version is beyond my remit, I can only confirm that the German edition contains both: dress 133 and the 'Julie Delpy' dress which is a free download until July 17 (available in German sizes 34-42).

But I think you caught an omission on burda's website! Dress 133 is missing there although it is in the collection of pics that peadane had dug out in this thread. Squirrellypoo posted the dress there so I'd speculate they just forgot to include it in the July collection on the website.

Of course! I should have thought of it!

La voici:

The downloadable pattern is here, free until July 17.

The explanations (in French) for the dress are here.

Do you mean on the German site?

For those interested in this dress:
Burda issues a 'warning' for this pattern that it'll need approximately 100 pages of paper!

In German language:
'Hinweis: Bitte beachten Sie, dass Sie aufgrund der Größe und Länge des Kleides beim Download mit etwa 100 Seiten rechnen müssen!'

Well, consider the description via Google Translate:

The floor-length wrap dress is a bit large for the site!

(Das bodenlange Wickelkleid ist etwas für den großen Auftritt!)

We have been warned, LOL!
