Subject: pattern help needed Date: 7/3/12 4:45 PM I am looking for a pattern like this anthropologie dress (sorry for such a large pic but I could not find a smaller one from their site to copy--or I just don't know how)
The closest I can find is this Butterick pattern. However the bodice is different and I really don't want ruching at the waist.

I have searched and searched for a similar pattern, but I am not coming up with anything. Does anyone know of one?

Date: 7/4/12 8:59 AM You might have to frankenpattern!
The top part of the dress looks like a simple tshirt, slight scoop neck and cuton or kimono sleeves - so if you can find that style tshirt pattern you could use the skirt from the dress pattern you found already?

Date: 7/5/12 7:07 AM Did you already check patterns for tops also? The skirt is just a gathered waist (elastic?), so that should be easy enough to draft yourself or get from another skirt or dress pattern.
I checked my inventory to see if I had an older OOP option, but didn't find anything similar. |

Date: 7/5/12 10:11 AM I did some checking back through my Burda magazines and found the perfect top. I can put some flutter sleeves on it and a skirt and I think it will work. Thanks. I am sorry about misspelling "needed". I tried to correct it but it would not let me. |

Date: 7/5/12 12:55 PM Do you have fabric? If you are looking to replicate, this GirlCharlie knit is pretty close albeit in a different colourway. It looks like the Anthro dress is a light woven though.
