Duck tape body form? How to make? Any intructions on how I can make one

And then, on a later thread walked us through a fitting that included using her form. Fitting Woes > My first proper muslin! And, again from pinkcatflower and also bumped, Fitting Woes > Woohoo! It never inspired me to sew for myself; I scared myself every time I walked into my sewing room. Oh and you know the part about not wearing panties while you're being taped? DH taped tightly (I asked him to do so reasoning he couldn't make me smaller than I was but if it was loose the tape might stretch out making the form bigger ....) I nearly passed out! I just knew my overly cautious DH would stuff me in the car and take me to ER if I fainted - how in the world would I ever explain THAT to the medical staff? It was a lot of work and we did get a reasonable likeness. But it will be lumpy without clearly defined shoulders for example. Better than nothing but I still ended up throwing it out after getting tired of staring at it for several years. ------ Mary http://checkmatesystem.com

Mine always have something on, otherwise it's like having a nude statue of yourself for all to behold.

Best if you can take her class in Chicago at Vogue but she also offers online classes and support. They are not creepy at all when finished with her method. Love mine. The paper tape does not work as well. Just google Jean Haas together with dress form or similar words and you will find her website.

And if you HAD fainted and your DH had hauled you off to the ER, he would have probably ended up with a policeman interrogating him: "Now, Mr. MM, just WHAT did you say you were doing to your wife?" ------ Debbie
