Date: 7/23/12 1:06 AM Just checked the Brother website before going to bed and saw a new "something" being told on July 30, 2012.
Since I am ready to buy an expensive machine again, I get nervous about what the newest release or changes will be. Hate to miss it by as little as a week!

Date: 7/23/12 7:04 AM That's pretty exciting. I wonder what Brother have come up with this time. They are true leaders of technology especially for their embroidery machines. Just need larger hoop size for their domestic sewing/embroidery machines like Bernina ------ Janome 300E

Date: 7/23/12 10:24 AM Yes I'm curious if they start offering mid range machines with a larger harp. Bernina and Janome's large harp sewing machines aren't exactly mid-line, more like TOL sewing only, but if Brother did a mid line OR TOL sewing only machine with a large harp, sewing only - it would likely be less expensive, and very popular. ------ Bernina 730E, 530, and 350PE

Date: 7/26/12 4:24 PM I am going to the Long Beach Quilt Festival this evening. do you think the big brother dealer might drop a hint? I hope so, or do they risk losing their dealership -- Edited on 7/26/12 4:24 PM -- |

4 members like this. Date: 7/26/12 5:53 PM Am I the only one sick of this stuff....YAWN is now my reaction to the teaser emails. Let us know when the model is out and let us see it - we are all grownups here. Sigh. I cannot get interested in advance - but this is so popular with the sewing machine manufacturers. Date: 7/27/12 2:05 AM Jumby, the one big orange county brother dealer was there, but there didn't seem to be anything new at all. The machines were stitching away with salespeople and customers watching as usual!
Your right Muffet, there is probably some new feature that enhances an existing feature. why did I fall for the silly hype! lol.
The fun thing to try out for me, was the "stitch regulator" disk fo rthe Handiquilter sweet sixteen sit down. I love that sit down machine and the "true stitch" regulator really works well. It was neat. I run a big longarm and after 10 years, I am ready to sit down and quilt! |
