Subject: What fabric to use? Date: 7/23/12 7:17 PM

I have a wedding to go to in early September and I'm in the "What will I wear?" mode. I found a pattern, but I don't know what kind of fabric to use. Burda used taffeta for their sample. I'm paralyzed with indecision. Please help!
What's a dressy fabric appropriate for an daytime wedding?

I think that would look nice in silk dupioni.

I think charmeuse, crepe-de-chine, taffeta, dupioni, shantung, and a satin twill are all good weaves for this pattern. Silk is a breathable, comfortable standard fabric. You could also use cotton, linen, or even wool, depending on your comfort level.

I've been obsessing about this one:

E.B. taffeta

I would use a 4-ply silk.
