Date: 8/2/12 3:52 PM I just finished watching the 1st and 2nd seasons of Downton Abbey on DVD from Netflix. I am officially addicted to it. Has the 3rd season started? If not, is this show shown in the United States?

Date: 8/3/12 11:14 AM I brought the DVDs out to my parents house to watch it with my mom. I figure she would enjoy it. Little did I know, my dad would get just as involved with it as us. He was upset to find out that we started the next episode while he was out on call for work. We had to rewatch that episode with him.

She's 78, said the corsets killed her. For Mad Men fans, fashions will change to the late 60's--shorter skirts, bolder prints, flared jeans.

I'd missed part of the first episode. Wow, the things you miss when you step out of the room. My mom doesn't want to talk on the phone when that program is on.

I wonder how much money could be saved if they wouldn't offer gifts for donations during their membership drives? ETA: DA has 17 Emmy nominations so we'll see how it goes tonight.
