interfacing used in men's ties source

It is a denser type fabric that gives the tie its body. Would love to hear from anyone who might know. Thank you

Black and Sons sells it by the yard. It is 63" wide which is nice if you would need to cut in on the bias for ties. ------ Liz thefittinglife.blogspot.com

I needed to keep within a very small budget. i used "shoe canvas" sold at Fabricland in canada, a more coarse fabric, cream coloured. it worked very well and was about $5 a yard.
