Has anyone done business with either Sewing Parts Online or Sewing Machines Plus? They both list the controller needed if I'm unable to locate one locally (metro Detroit area. TIA Anne

I have found them to be helpful and have had an easy time with returns. The only time I ordered from Sewing Parts- the item was backordered forever- and I ended up cancelling my order. Good luck joan

The price is slightly higher on SMP but it would be worth it to avoid excess aggravation. If my diagnosis is incorrect and it's not the foot controller, an easy return situation would be helpful, too. Anne
