On my radar someday: Babylock Serger, and some machine for travel.
My dearest wish is to have Bernina come out with a machine that doesn't give me a reason to *not* buy it.

Date: 8/21/12 8:00 PM A lot??! HAHHAHAA....of course I am not one for antiques, collectables or brick-a-brack at all so I could just be a good person to ask for a reality check here because that baby wouldn't get more than $10 from me! And yes, it is adorable! Too much STUFF around that fills the house and leaves our grown kids with the need for a backhoe and a dumpster eventually....sigh.

Date: 8/21/12 9:24 PM I totally agree Muffet. There are so many Hello Kitty fans here on PR and I just don't get it. ------ Thank you Lord for my Mother who taught me the joy of sewing. |

Date: 8/21/12 11:36 PM I was rather dumbfounded by the price also, which is why I linked it. I honestly don't get the lure of most "collectibles" with only a display function. I was kind of freaked out by the $1800 crinkle finish Featherweight I posted about the other day, and at least that can do something beyond being cute.
Different strokes for different folks, I guess, but that's one pricey feline. -- Edited on 8/21/12 11:38 PM -- ------ My Years of Sewing Fearlessly

Date: 8/22/12 8:53 AM It's so cute, but I do agree, that is one expensive "toy". |
