Whenever I get homesick for the years I lived in Texas... ...and didn't shop at Jo-Ann Fabrics...

Date: 8/24/12 10:23 PM I can now not shop at Jo-Ann Fabrics right from here, coz Jo- Ann now ships to Canada! How long has this been going on and am I the only Canadian that didn't already know this?! Actually they have some good bits and pieces, and actually I did venture into Jo-Ann Fabrics now and then, mostly for the pattern sales. Anyhoo if by chance I am not the last Canadian to learn this, Jo-Ann Fabris now ships to Canada. Jo-Ann Fabrics ------ I heart Panzy, Pfaff Creative Performance, the sewing machine love of my life! And Rupert (Pfaff 2023), Baby (BL Enlighten), Victor (BLCS), Ash (Bernina 350SE), Pal (Bernina 530), Kee (Bernina 750) and the Featherteen Flock! Most of all, I heart Woo (HimmyCat). I remember yonks ago when I lived in Winnipeg something or other about certain items not being allowed in without having both languages. As I've said before, I used to shop with my mom at the store where the original founder worked. Missed those days when they carried lovely stuff! Anyway, this was just in our paper this week that they were now shipping to Canada. Also planning on opening more stores, but smaller than their super stores. ------ Singer 66-16. I was looking at some fabric and on the e-swatches I was looking at it said ships only to the USA. Any Canucks out there know if Joanne's ship fabric too and they just need to update their website? As for the Quebec thing, I am no expert but it seems to me there is some law that says goods cannot be imported to Quebec unless they have French on the packaging.
