Date: 8/30/12 9:59 AM Only the 780 has an automatic thread cutter?!?!? ------ nightowlsally.com
On my radar someday: Babylock Serger, and some machine for travel.
My dearest wish is to have Bernina come out with a machine that doesn't give me a reason to *not* buy it.

Date: 8/30/12 10:34 AM I thought that too, but I'm sure that they all have that feature. All the older Bernina 9mm machines do, so these surely do. I was wondering why they showed the knee lift when they are supposed to have the hover feature. I thought the videos weren't that great. They just showed very basic things that my 730 already does.
I saw embroidering a one color design with the 780, and setting up with the 710 and 750. Did I miss some? ------ Bernina 730E, 530, and 350PE

On the 710-750 video, they showed "cut the thread" in print on the screen while they were showing using the cutter on the side of the machine to cut the ends of the threads after sewing that straight seam.
