The cover in itself is worth the price of the magazine. You can see it here Chanel cover of The New Yorker Have quickly skimmed the contents- don't miss the Shouts and Murmurs article, Test Your FAshion I.Q. and the cartoons are fashion themed. Don't miss on page 86 Killer Paisley and on the next page is another hilarious one. ------ Sometimes she didn't always follow the recipe. The article I'm referring to is not about Chanel, but rather the humorous piece, Shouts and Murmers, Test Your Fashion I. Q. Today I picked up another Annual Style issue- Vanity Fair. It is loaded with large images of style icons that are not extreme fashion poses- like the current Vogue pattern shots. You can really see the clothes- what a treat! Have only had a quick glance through, but besides their choices for best-dressed women, there are well-dressed men, couples and film notables. There is also an article about movies that made a fashion impact. Of course there is the current Vogue magazine weighing in at 4.4 lbs! Carry that around and burn some calories . . . And, she really knew how to work with her hands to revolutionize women's clothing. Her impact goes on and on. Thanks to Chanel, we are still working out her ideas of beauty- soft, yet structured, elegant, yet easy to wear. I've never tried on a Chanel jacket; maybe I should. I'd like to look through PR reviews for Chanels. I know there is the Claire Schaeffer jacket and a new rendition from Style Arc. Any others I should search out here?
