Date: 9/11/12 4:29 PM so I am considering making some curtains. because my kidz are like rawdy dogs, what length should I make my curtains?
one inch below the window seal? 5 inches? I know it can't be down to the carpet.

Subject: curtain lenghts Date: 9/11/12 4:55 PM The "rule of thumb" is an inch or two below the sill. However, I always say it depends on the window size and the type of drape your hanging. I have pinch pleats and my window sits somewhat high from the floor, but it is not one of those long, wide ranch windows that sits high on the wall. I didn't think just one inch below the sill would look nice, so I went about 4 or 5 inches. I think it looks great. ------ Babylock Ellisimo Gold
