Subject: Kenmore model 50?? Or model 413? Date: 9/11/12 11:27 PM

For the 50: And is $550 reasonable for "never used" and still in (wooden!) case?

For the 413: looks beautifully kept. Include table and chair, $200 obo.

I don't need much beyond garment sewing, but it has to handle heavier weight stuff AND sheer weight stuff...

You need more than "model 50" to really identify the thing. It's unlikely to be worth $550 in any case.

Thanks, FrBasil. That's all that's in the ad, besides the pic. Googling Kenmore model 50 turned up YouTube videos and pics that looked the same? But I don't know if that means much. I did find "manufactured between 1963-1965" but not much more.

Any opinion on the 413?

Personally, I wouldn't pony up more than $50 for ANY Kenmore, table or no table, attachments or no attachments. They're easy enough to find if you miss out on these. And I wouldn't bother with any machine that has no pictures attached.
