Date: 9/12/12 3:12 PM HSN (Home Shopping Network) sells Janome Sewing Machines now.
I hope they do 'on air' demos as I would love to watch.
HSN had Singer and Brother SM's for years. Then they got Juki's and now Janome's. Maybe Babylocks next. ------ Thank you Lord for my Mother who taught me the joy of sewing. |

Subject: HSN sells Janome SMs now Date: 9/13/12 9:26 AM So just for kicks and grins, I went to see what machines they're selling.
One of them is the 200E embroidery machine. $999.
So I still had a question about it, decided to Google it... and found Ken's Sewing offering that machine for $499.
The price shopping on sewing machines just blows my mind.. and I wasn't even trying to look for prices this time! ------ nightowlsally.com
On my radar someday: Babylock Serger, and some machine for travel.
My dearest wish is to have Bernina come out with a machine that doesn't give me a reason to *not* buy it.
2012: New Elna Lotus (mostly for granddaughter), Red Elna Press, Horizon 7700, Gidget 2 Table, Babylock Ellisimo Gold

Date: 9/13/12 10:35 AM If they can price their machines more competitively it will be good for people who want to spread the cost out over easy pay when it's available. Might make a dif in what sm they can afford. But almost doubling it, I don't think so! ------ Let's just say all modern sms are well represented in my studio. |

Date: 9/13/12 1:44 PM Most of the Janome sewing machines are the standard internet pricing so it is a good deal if you would like to use flex pay. The embroidery machine is overpriced but the sewing machine prices are not inflated.
It would be nice if Darlene would demo the machines to show what projects she can come up with to show off the features. |
