Is this not the most darling thing you've seen?! Saw it on Pinterest. Doesn't link back to the original website so I have no idea what this retails for but I would love to make something like it. Any ideas?

Oh, that's darling!! If you can't find a pattern for that (which seems unlikely; it's *so* unique), it would not be that hard to Frankenpattern. Flounces like that are easy-peasy to draft, once you find the right coat body, plus some way to approximate that big shawl collar.

Did you try leaving a comment on the Pinterest page; maybe someone knows the source!

Oh my gosh, that is just beautiful! I really want one too! I even love the pink!

Do you think that is a wool fabric? I am allergic to wool and have been looking for an alternative but just have not found anything yet.

I have seen a sort of fit & flare coat pattern. I've never frankenpatterned but I'm willing to try.

Well if you don't mind a poly I found a couple of options. They are a bit darker than the coat but they are pink nonetheless

Here's a softer pink. 100% wool. A bit pricey at $29/yard

This one is less expensive at $20/yard

I wasn't necesssarily looking for pink.... just any material that would be like wool but not wool. I know when I was a kid (junior high-ish) I had a long hooded peacoat sort of style coat that was not wool but you could not tell the difference in looking at it. I wish I knew what it was because that is the fabric I would like to find again.
