Date: 9/13/12 5:46 AM I was looking for an article that explains where you have to place the marks between which you have to ease a jacket sleeve cap. I found this article In Threads magazine but the picture of the sleeve cap is not clear to me. I think the 8 inches are too much. If anyone could explain to me, I would be very thankfull.
Here is the link:

Date: 9/13/12 7:43 AM These marks are transfered from the bodice usually, there are a few systems to find these marks, but commercial patterns always have them anyway ------ www.thesewingspace.com |

Date: 9/13/12 8:14 AM Thanks for your reaction. Usually they do, but I had a pattern from Jean Hardy where the marks are missing. I'd like to draw my own patterns too but in the tutorials on pattern drawing I only found the notches for constructing the sleeve. |

While the style and size may vary; I'm a petite, and on my last jacket, the total was more like 14 inches.------ http://seamslikeparadise.blogspot.com/ |
