Date: 9/13/12 9:41 PM Saw this machine and case on CL and at first thought it was a FW. Does anyone know anything about this machine? It's a White series 97. Thanks

Date: 9/14/12 0:11 AM It's a 77 not a 97. You could read it's instruction manual. I don't think it's very like a 221 though. But it might be fun to have.

It's hard to tell. The one I'm looking at is a Domestic. But I don't know if several of those brand names (White, Domestic, etc.) were essentially the same machine. And I don't know if these are mechanically the same as the Featherweight or just resemble it in style. I am waiting for the seller to answer me so I can maybe go look at it and see. ------ Margaret (Singer 201-2), Betty (Singer 15-91), Bud (Singer 503), Kathy (Singer 221), Liz (Singer 221 Centennial Edition)
