Where can I find the stretchable binding tape that is used to finish edges of polarfleece sportswear?

It's called Fold Over Elastic. Try searching here on the boards as I'm sure there has been previous posts listing sources for FOE.

Fleece Binding, by Wrights, at Joanns. You can probably find it at other vendors, online or brick and mortar. Wrights is a well-known brand, and is stocked by many vendors.

I've also seen this type of product at Honcock's, on reels, sold by the yard.

You can also make your own binding using yardage of nylon-lycra 4-way stretch fabric. Cut 2-inch or wider strips, depending on which technique you'll use to sew it to the fleece (double-sided or single-sided).

That's how I do it, I prefer wider, it's eaiser to apply. Another fabric that makes nice fleece binding is microfleece. It has a slight stretch and the texture blends nicely with other fleece.
