Date: 9/22/12 11:16 PM I need some info.. how long do patterns stay saved in your "bag" on this site,,, I had some patterns saved in my bag, for a while,,, and now they are gone,,, no they don't "empty" when you close the page or log out.. at least it didn't on me.. I just wonder if they clear all the bags at a certain time each month.. ------ Mickie

Date: 9/23/12 1:25 AM Can't help you but what I do as I see reviews for patterns I want to buy is email myself and put "Patterns McCall's 1234" in the subject line. Then when BMV has a sale (or my local sewing store) I search my inbox alphabetically for P (patterns) and I get a list of the ones I wanted to order. After I've ordered them I delete the emails. Works well for me.

Date: 9/23/12 7:05 AM Instead of adding a pattern to your bag, add it to your wishlist on the BMV site. When you are looking at a particular pattern, look up and diagonally right from the words 'add to bag.' About 4-5 inches away from 'add to bag' in little letters it says 'add to wishlist.' Your wishlist is for all 4 pattern brands on the site and never goes away.
Then when you want to see your wishlist, click on account. One of the tabs on your account page is wishlist. Nothing disappears from your wishlist unless you remove it.
Simplicity has a 'list' option too but there the 'add to list' option is below the 'add to cart'. Here on PR you can also keep a wishlist but I think you have to be a paid member to use both it and the pattern catalog feature. And you are a member so be sure to take advantage of those!
If you are looking at patterns here on PR or at the reviews people have written for patterns here, you have the option to add the pattern to your wishlist here also. If you buy patterns from PR, they automatically go into your pattern catalog. Or you can add patterns you already own to it too.

Date: 9/23/12 1:03 PM I do this all the time: I add patterns to my cart and they just stay in there until there's a sale, and then I check out. (I've got some in my cart now.) I have never had the cart empty on me. I think I might be always logged in though. Oh, I take that back because I remember seeing a sale and going to my cart and wondering why the sale prices weren't showing, and realizing I needed to log in. So, I guess I'm not much help! LOL Do you always use the same computer? |

Really, BMV could make it a little easier for people to see because it is nice to have a wish list going for when there are sales.------ Thank you Lord for my Mother who taught me the joy of sewing. |
