3 members like this. Date: 10/6/12 3:27 PM I don't understand normally how some people seem to get their hands on such bargains. I think in America you have more options and sales.
But today I feel I have finally hit the jack pot. The owner of the shop when I queried the price explained he has several bolts of it and wants to make some space. He got it from a factory when they were moving and needed to get rid of their stock.

Oh, and if you have any thoughts on what I should make with the rest once I have made the dress I have planned please do say.... -- Edited on 10/6/12 3:27 PM -- |

Date: 10/6/12 4:21 PM Very nice fabric. Lucky you!
Some of last winter's high top vintage-ish shoes looked like they might be screaming for spats. ------ I have no idea what Apple thought I was saying so be a Peach and credit anything bizarre to auto correct. |

After you make the dress will there be enough left over for a vest?

Date: 10/7/12 6:25 PM thank you all for sharing in my enjoyment in my fabric find. I thought it might help with the pattern suggestions if I posted a link to the (vintage) pattern I plan to use to make a dress from it (link here)
I'm not sure what kind of hat would go with this style of dress. A coat (light weight of course) might go with it though. It's not a style I have bought/made before, but I really like the overall look.
