Date: 10/6/12 8:51 PM Well the fall TV season has kicked off..... I should preface saying we do not have cable or Neflex either so have basic stations via antenna. ... So anything special anyone likes so far? Or doesn't like?
I myself feel Saturday night TV is a big Bust! All you find is sports, sports, sports. If I were a sports nut fine but that is not something I enjoy watching. Well the World Series but that is about it .
The new season of Person of Interest I found was pretty good. It is not my favorite show but I thought the first 2 episodes were good. The Voice I like, now in season 3 be interesting what new twist they have added to make it more fun.
So likes , dislikes anyone? ------ I am a gal from Kalamazoo.... oh what a gal... smile.... It is in Michigan... la la la ...love that Glen Miller classic!

DH is totally into all the Westerns on AMC. There is something else that comes on AMC I like but for the life of me I can't remember what it is. It's too late at night.
I'm also planning to continue watching Downton Abbey, but that's not fall TV.

Date: 10/7/12 7:51 AM Probably stick to my usual shows but looking forward to Chicago Fire. Watched the first ep on demand. From the same people that do Law and Order. The cast seems to really gel together and to me that's the first thing to make a good show. Other then that can't think of anything new that looks that interesting. I watch more shows on cable my favs that are starting soon or are on now
Sons of Anarchy
Walking Dead
Grimm
Once Upon a time
Dexter
The Middle (to me this is the closet the tv sitcom has come to a real family)
Two Broke Girls
Person Of Interest
SUV
As you can see I watch quite a mix.

Date: 10/7/12 9:13 AM Other than reality singing and dancing shows.. which I like to watch/listen to cause I can just catch bits and pieces now and then.. the dogs won't let me watch much TV.. without disturbing me.. I watch Revenge,, and I still like the Mentalist. although I wish they would either shoot Red John and get it over with. or shoot me and put me out of my misery.. cause I am sick and tired of hearing about Red John..
My favs right now are actually on an off channel.. Longmire .. and I watch the Glades that is on the same channel and airs before Longmire. I would watch Longmire just for the scenery.. but having Lou Diamond Phillips in that show is the icing on the cake..
Only recently started watching Scandal.. having a new interest in Politics.. none of that will go on when I am Prez.. well. maybe a bit with Mr. P.. |

Cop stuff instead of hospital, Lucy Liu as the foil instead of Wilson (thought Wilson/Watson - pretty close. I think that was mentioned about House) and the Englishman gets to keep his accent.
Glee. Poor Finn! Gotta love that big lug. ------ http://bgballroom.wordpress.com to follow the progress on my next ballgown. |

CBS stuck "Fran becomes a lawyer" in between NY CSI and Blue Bloods, so I skip to Fringe at 9!
Who the heck is Wilson? Dr. John Watson is now Dr. Joan Watson. Do you think they will resurrect Dr. Moriarty?
While Longmire is on sabbatical you can watch Vegas and still get your "cowboy sheriff" fix. -- Edited on 10/7/12 10:52 AM -- |

Date: 10/7/12 12:14 PM Wilson was House's foil. If they do Moriarty, I hope they wait awhile. It gets tedious (see comments about Red John).
We tried Longmire because someone said they liked the books and we like Katee Sackhoff. I guess the books were better. I just can't quite get into it. Like the Glades but getting tired of the in-show commercials. "Gee Mom, how did you get all your stuff in the Kia?" "Just fold down the back seat, son. Gotta love the Kia's features!" Even the actors seem a bit embarrassed about that. DH likes to ffwd through commercials and is ticked when they happen right in the script of the show. ------ http://bgballroom.wordpress.com to follow the progress on my next ballgown. |
