Looking for V-neck pleated mock wrap dress pattern For wovens

Does anyone remember which company it was? I thought it was a New Look, in fuchsia, but maybe I was imagining it! The closest I've found so far is Vogue 1302, but it is just similar, not actually the same. Thanks for your help!

It isn't the right pattern for you at all (it's a knit pattern, for a start) but the fuchsia dress on the cover might be the one that you remembered! ------ http://sewingnovice.blogspot.co.uk/ One woman. So what are the pattern elements to look for? Here's another view that shows the construction in more detail: The skirt is straight and close, dart fitted to the waist seam that joins it to the bodice. The snug, V-necked bodice is also dart-fitted (no princess seaming). The right side is draped over the left via three tucks that go all the way to the side seam rather than being caught in a princess seam. I also I am sure I've seen something very close to this, but I might be thinking of an old Vogue designer 'cocktail sheath' pattern.

There are some very good suggestions there, but I still haven't found the one I was thinking of - if, of course, it exists! The closest match for the design I've found now is New Look 6123. However, that wasn't the one I was actually thinking of. I wondered also whether I might have had this one in my mind somewhere, which is a pattern I've looked at often, and there's another dress in pink in that magazine, and I've mixed the two together. Who knows? Thanks again for your help. If I decide to go ahead with making it, I certainly have a range of options among your suggestions, most of them more interesting and unique than the original design. -- Edited on 10/8/12 6:14 AM --

Well, if it makes you feel any better, when I saw your link, that was the pattern I immediately thought of, too. In the floral print, you really can't see all that shirring that's happening on the sides of the pattern, so the sample really does look deceptively spot on! I think your New Look find, minus sleeves, has nailed it, though! ------ ~Gem in the prairie
